  • LM Grass (Buffalo/Berea) supply and installation
  • Kikuyu Grass supply and installation
  • Artificial Grass supply and installation
  • Lawn dressing supply
  • Sifted topsoil and compost supply
  • Irrigation installation, repairs and maintenance
  • Site assessments and quotations

Services are subject to availability and geographic location.

 

  1. Quotations

  • All quotations are valid for a limited period as specified.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • A quotation does not constitute a binding agreement until confirmed and accepted.

 

  1. Orders & Payments

4.1 Orders
Orders are confirmed once payment (or agreed deposit) is received.

4.2 Deposits
Certain projects may require a deposit before scheduling installation.

4.3 Payment Methods
We accept approved payment methods displayed on our website. Cash on Delivery may be available for qualifying orders.

4.4 Pricing
Pricing is calculated:

  • Per square metre for grass
  • Per cubic metre for soil products
  • Custom quotation for irrigation and large projects

5.1 Service Areas
We primarily operate in Gauteng.
We also service Limpopo, North West, Free State and Mpumalanga upon request.

5.2 Access Requirements
Customers must ensure:

  • Clear access to the installation area
  • Removal of vehicles, debris, or obstacles
  • Pets secured during installation

Delays due to lack of access may result in rescheduling fees.

5.3 Weather Conditions
Installation may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

5.4 Free Transportation
Free transportation applies within Gauteng for qualifying orders.

 

  1. Site Assessments

  • Site assessments are provided within Gauteng.
  • Customers must provide accurate property information.
  • Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from initial assessment.

 

  1. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate measurements
  • Ensuring adequate water supply
  • Proper lawn maintenance after installation
  • Following aftercare instructions

Failure to follow maintenance guidelines may affect lawn performance.

 

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

8.1 Cancellation by Customer
Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be partially non-refundable if materials have already been sourced.

8.2 Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24–48 hours in advance.

8.3 Cancellation by Lawnitex
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to:

  • Weather
  • Safety concerns
  • Unforeseen operational issues

 

  1. Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of natural grass:

  • Grass products are non-returnable once delivered.
  • Artificial grass may be subject to return conditions if unused.
  • Soil and compost are non-returnable once delivered.

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

 

  1. Installation Warranty

We guarantee workmanship at the time of installation.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Improper watering
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Extreme weather damage
  • Pest infestation
  • Third-party interference
  • Soil conditions outside our control

Artificial grass warranty (if applicable) depends on manufacturer terms.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

Lawnitex shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Damage due to misuse or neglect
  • Pre-existing soil or drainage issues

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All website content including logos, images, text, and branding belongs to Lawnitex and may not be reproduced without written permission.

 

  1. Privacy & Data Protection

Use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in that policy.

 

  1. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

  1. Firewood Products – Terms & Conditions

Product Nature

Firewood is a natural product. Variations in size, shape, density, and moisture content may occur. While we supply properly dried firewood, exact characteristics may differ between batches.


Volumetric Packaging

All firewood is sold in pre-packed bags based on volumetric measurement (approximately 8kg equivalent). Actual weight may vary depending on wood type and moisture content.

By purchasing, the customer acknowledges and accepts volumetric measurement as the standard method of sale.


Product Use

Our firewood is intended for use in fireplaces, braais, fire pits, and general heating. Performance may vary depending on environmental conditions, storage, and usage methods.


Wood Type Selection

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate firewood type based on their intended use:

  • Blue Gum: Fast burning, suitable for quick heat
  • Black Wattle: Balanced burn for heating and braai
  • Sekelbos: Long-burning, premium braai wood

We are not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from incorrect product selection.


Storage Responsibility

Once delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility to store firewood in a dry and well-ventilated area. Exposure to moisture after delivery may affect burning performance.


Availability & Substitution

All firewood products are subject to availability. In rare cases, we reserve the right to substitute a similar or higher-quality wood type, or to contact the customer to arrange an alternative.


Delivery Conditions

Firewood delivery is subject to access, safety, and logistical conditions. Delivery may be rescheduled if the delivery location is not accessible or safe.


Inspection & Acceptance

Customers must inspect their order upon delivery. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours. Failure to do so will be considered acceptance of the product as delivered.


Limitation of Liability

Lawnitex shall not be held liable for:

  • Differences in burn time, smoke levels, or heat output
  • Improper use or storage of firewood
  • Environmental factors affecting performance
  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the product

Refusal & Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to stock limitations, pricing errors, or logistical constraints. Customers will be notified and refunded where applicable.


Agreement to Terms

By placing an order for firewood, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all firewood-related terms outlined in our Delivery Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, and Terms & Conditions.
